about me

I grew up playing in the rich red dirt of Sedona, AZ and climbing on the pervasive bronze sculptures of its art world while waiting for my parents on family outings. Mother Nature’s natural red rock sculptures were my playground. And as an adult, living in Flagstaff since 2010 the mountains, volcanoes, and canyons of the Colorado plateau speak to my soul. Northern Arizona is a sculptural land filled with deep history and lots of emotion. It has also always been a spiritual landscape for me. The land has shaped me and tells me stories of my life and how to be a human being. It is those stories that I hope to share with you in my work. When I’m not sculpting I can be found hiking, reading, enjoying time with my friends and family, or traveling with my husband Ryan Biter, a professional touring musician.
